Bates Farm, Angers
Born in Montreal, Jackson has an attachment to the landscapes of his homeland and although he has undertaken many expeditions across Canada, he painted a multitude of landscapes inspired by Quebec nature.
This work was made in the fifties by Jackson, soon in his seventies, but in good shape. He paints regularly and still travels. In Bates Farm, A.Y. Jakckson illustrates a rural scene in the Gatineau region.
