Urbain landscape of the Maritimes in summer by Molly Bobak.
Molly Lamb enlisted in the Canadian Army in 1942 to make her war effort. It recognizes her talent as a painter and becomes the first woman engaged as a war artist. Two other women followed, Paraskeva Clark (1898-1986) and Pegi Nicol Macleod (1904-1949). She meets her husband, Bruno Bobak, in 1945, also a painter for the Canadian army. They moved to Fredericton, New Brunswick where they continued their career as artists.
