Brent Mcintosh was born in Montreal in 1959 and now lives in Ontario. The technique that the artist develops through his exhibitions and his attachment to colorful landscapes, after completing a master’s degree in fine arts at York University, will be more and more pointed and developed.

His technique will often be compared to the Impressionist movement at the limit of expressionism. His particular palette gives an impression of lightness between dream and reality, "Each color reacts to the other colors that surround it", he says. They must be combined to vibrate and intensify while preserving structural precision. Balancing the colors of the image by avoiding stagnation, acidification or flattening of the paint is a demanding part of this process.
