Sagard
The quote "My canvas is like a novel! Life is changed, recomposed, magnified." is attributed to the painter Bruno Côté who likes to draw comparisons between painting and literature. In 1991, the journalist Régis Tremblay of Le Soleil gave Bruno Côté the nickname "Inventor of Landscapes". He added that this title suits him well because Bruno Côté's inventiveness lies in the subtle transformation of the colors of things, rather than painting science-fiction landscapes. He is not afraid to paint tree trunks blue.
Mr. Tremblay says that the transmutation of nature continues through Bruno Côté's art. This is evident in how he creates each canvas, each line, and each shade.
