Quebec's Modern abstract art , post-war. In 1972, 17 large format prints were created by Jean-Paul Riopelle in the series of Suites. These Suites have been presented Museum of Modern Art of Paris for the exhibition Riopelle, Ficelles et autres jeux. Artist proofs are usually kept by the artist or the printer. Made in small numbers before the official draw, artists' proofs and off-trade are thus more rare.
