Camila

He is inspired by his living environment, the agricultural world, and he develops a bestiary: horses, cows, foals, etc. His sculptures are strikingly realistic and contribute to his fame. They are always treated with some degree of humor or in a friendly manner.

In the early 1980s, he won a request for a public work of art and incorporated a new material: bronze. He develops his practice and invests himself fully in this technique, to the point where he will come to open his own foundry, Julienne Atelier inc., in Pense, Saskatchewan.
