Winter day on Clark street, Montreal (looking south-west side)
John Little works with oil, watercolor and ink. He is recognized for his street scenes of the cities of Montreal and Quebec. These are often depicted under the snow. He also populates his urban scenes with adults and children walking in the street with their hockey sticks under their arms. His characters are animated and he admirably interprets the movement of the crowds or the traffic jam in the narrow streets.
