Chouette lumineuse

In 1990, Jean-Paul Jérôme created his artworks from his studio in Varennes, Montreal. The production of this period is characterized by a style inspired by pop-art, hard-edge and the movement of Les Plasticiens. For the artwork Chouette lumineuse, the bright colors and rounded forms of the composition are highlighted by the accuracy of the lines delimiting the zones. The same year, the artist participated at several exhibitions at Clarence Gagnon, Michel Bigué, Artès art galleries and also at the Marc-Aurèle Fortin Museum.
