The year 1966 is important since the great collaboration between Jean-Paul Riopelle and Mr. Aimé Maeght begins. The famous gallery owner represents the tenors of 20th century art such as Chagall, Kadinsky and Giacometti. A first Riopelle exhibition then took place at the Maeght gallery in Paris, presenting exceptional oil works, sculptures and paper works.
