Untitled
Avant-garde painter and signatory of the Refus global manifesto, Marcelle Ferron is one of the leading artists of the second half of the 20th century. From 1953 to 1957, the artist lived in Paris and was part of the entourage of painters Jean-Paul Riopelle and Paul-Emile Borduas. The works she produced during this decade are distinguished by their structure as well as by the density of the material.
