Celebration
The canadian artist Rita Letendre lived in France, Israel, Italy and the United States before settling back in the country in Toronto in 1970. The hard-edge technique of abrupt transition of colors originated in Californian artistic circles in the early 1960s. The Celebration painting is an eloquent example of the artist's mastery of this technique.
